Branching Out In New Directions (BOND)
Mission Statement:
Through Education, Service and Philanthropy BOND, a nonprofit organization, offers its members opportunity for intellectual pursuits,
community service, social interaction and philanthropy.
BOND was formed when Brandeis’s women’s TC branch no longer existed as of three years ago. Branching Out In New Directions (BOND) organized their own nonprofit, hence, Branching Out In New Directions was formed.
Branching Out In New Directions holds lectures in learning, monthly short story, book and movie discussions, lunch and dinner outings and bridge as well as special events. This is Branching Out In New Directions' way of making connections within our community and at the same time raising scholarship monies given to local Twin Cities recipients through the Jewish Family and Childrens' Service program, “Beyond Safe” and the Jewish Family Service of St Paul providing support for their newly launched networking group designed to assist professional people currently in the job market. In addition, BOND is working to help launch a St. Paul holiday gift project similar to the Jewish Family and Children's Service’s project, which we have been actively involved with for several years.
Branching Out In New Directions has also secured a Twin Cities Brandeis endowment scholarship, which will be rewarded on a yearly basis by Brandeis University.
