Since 1939, Camp Moshava of Wild Rose, WI, has offered the ultimate experience in Religious Zionist overnight camping for campers going into grades 4 through 11. Through exciting, experiential learning revolving around a different theme every summer, campers learn about Jewish history, the development of the modern State of Israel, and the challenges that Israel faces today.
Located on 240 scenic acres spanning five lakes, Camp Moshava offers traditional camp activities such as sports, swimming, boating, and arts and crafts. These activities blend in with outdoor hikes, overnight sleep-outs, color war, and special trips out of camp to round out a comprehensive, co-educational summer experience. Tefilot (prayers) three times a day and daily shiurim (study groups) provide the formal spiritual component of the Moshava experience, while the values of community, ethics, and leadership pervade all aspects of camp. The formal and informal come together on Friday night, when campers begin celebrating an intensely spiritual Shabbat.
Located in the beautiful central region of Wisconsin about 90 minutes from Wisconsin Dells, Camp Moshava is operated under the auspices of Religious Zionists of Chicago and its youth affiliate, Bnei Akiva of Chicago.
