The "Bais Chaya Moussia Hospitality Center" provides a variety of material, spiritual, educational, and counseling services - at no charge - to all Jews who come to Rochester, regardless of their personal level of Jewish observance, affiliation or knowledge.
We are here to serve patients who are being treated at the world-famous Mayo Clinic, family members who accompany these patients, transient visitors who find themselves in Rochester on business or as tourists, and of course, Rochester’s Jewish community.
Above all, when the normal challenges of life are aggravated by the stress and apprehension of medical diagnosis and treatment away from home in a strange city among strangers, we make ourselves available to do what we can.
The Center is run by Rabbi David and Chanie Greene, who were sent here in 1988 by the Lubavitcher Rebbe (of blessed memory) to provide an oasis of Jewish Hospitality and Chassidic warmth in one of the smallest Jewish communities in Minnesota, and who have become famous throughout the world for diligently "Providing for All Your Jewish Needs" in Rochester.
