Herzl Camp is all about trying something new, making great friends, learning about Israel, singing, playing, laughing, and celebrating Judaism by living it everyday. Everyone at camp is a part of traditions, some thousands of years old and others brand new, which bring Judaism to life and make Herzl one of the best ways for Jewish kids to spend their summers. Our commitment is to give campers of any affiliation the greatest Jewish camping experience possible. Founded in 1946, Herzl Camp today is located on the shores of Devil's Lake, in Webster, Wisconsin. Just two hours from the Twin Cities, the camp is 120 acres of beautiful woodland. Programs include: Taste of Herzl, a one-week experience for campers entering grades 3-4; Chalutzim, a two-week experience for campers entering grades 4-6; Ha¿atid, a three week experience for campers entering grades 5-6; Kesher, a three week experience for campers entering 7th and 8th grade; Tzofim, a four week experience for campers entering 7th and 8th grade; Bogrim, a three week experience for campers entering grade 9 and 10; Kadimah, a four-week experience for campers entering grade 9; B'yachad, a four week experience for campers entering grade 10; and Teva Trek, a three week experience for campers entering grades 10-11. New to camp this year is golf and archery. We will also be having a one week session called Specialty Camp for our 4th-11th graders, which allows campers to choose a concentration for one week, as well as participating in other camp activities. The last weekend of camp, August 4th-7th, we will be holding Family Camp, an exciting vacation for families of any size.
