Rabbi Morris Allen, spiritual leader of Congregation Beth Jacob in Mendota Heights, volunteers at the Stillwater Penitentiary, where he works with Jewish prisoners as a chaplain and teacher.

Rabbi Allen was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1984. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
