The Lubavitch Cheder Day School was founded in 1977 on the foundation of providing children with a solid and well-rounded Jewish education.

The Lubavitch Early Childhood Center is a warm and inviting preschool that emphasizes physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. Fostering creativity while imbuing the child with Jewish values, the center offers a balanced Jewish and general study curriculum. LECC is the choice for your child aged 3-5. The Center is headed and staffed by certified teachers, experienced in working with young children. The Shtayim program offers daycare for children ages 16 months to 3 years.

The Lubavitch Cheder’s elementary school offers a fine balance of Judaic and general studies curriculum. Committed to academic excellence, the Cheder also emphasizes Jewish values and a strong commitment to community. A warm learning environment fosters development of character and sense of identity ensuring that our students are provided the tools they need to grow to be proud Jewish men and women.

The Cheder is also home to one of the largest Jewish libraries in the Twin Cities. The Reuven Amrami Judaica Library carries a wide variety of Hebrew and English book for children and adults.

The Lubavitch book and gift shop offers a beautiful selection of contemporary Judaica as well as a fine line of quality kosher wines. Shmurah Matzah is available prior to Passover.
