The primary goal of the JCC Early Childhood Center Pre-School is to encourage children to develop cooperative social skills while discovering their own creativity in art, music, science, gym, swimming and field trips. The ECC also promotes social, cognitive, emotional and physical development.
Each of our programs is headed by a certified early childhood teacher and assistant experienced in working with young children. Age-appropriate experiences are provided that encourage physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. A Jewish curriculum based on learning through first-hand experience is an integral part of the program. We prepare for Jewish holidays through activities in the language arts, music, art and cooking.
The pre-school serves children age 2 1/2 to 5 years and offers 3- and 5-day programs. The program runs from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and extended daycare is available. The JCC pre-school is open to all, regardless of race, religion or special needs.
The JCC also offers infant and toddler care, afterschool and Sunday prorams for all ages, and summer day camp for children age 16 months through 10th grade.
