K-12 Education Grant

The St. Paul Jewish Federation Education Committee has limited funds to allocate each year for K-12 Jewish education programs. This grant seeks innovative ways to meet unmet community needs in our 11-county service area.

Pillar Grant, Ignite Grant, and K-12 funding recipients ARE eligible to apply for K-12 Education Grants.

Grant Cycle Details: Applications are due in mid-March and mid-August. Funds will be distributed approximately six weeks following the application deadline. Each program should have its application; please do not combine multiple programs on one application.

These grants will be evaluated using the following criteria:

  • Description of intended program or project: How well does the application describe the program goals, strategies, and tactics?
  • Monitoring and evaluation plan: To what extent does the application provide a plan for monitoring and evaluating the program's effectiveness?
  • Alignment with St. Paul Jewish Federation's commitment and purpose: To what extent does the application align with St. Paul Jewish Federation's commitment and purpose statements?
  • Alignment with K-12 Education Committee Charter
  • Additional considerations that we will use for application evaluation:
    • innovation
    • engagement with and impact on a wide scope of K-12 children
    • meeting educational needs not being met elsewhere
    • community collaboration
