Join me (Yedidya Yasu) for the return of my OUR ISRAEL series in the 2024-2025 season. OUR ISRAEL is designed to teach community members about lesser-known aspects of Israel's culture and history through dialogue and dinner.

To help make these gatherings possible, we’re asking for a $12 ticket contribution, which allows us to continue offering these enriching experiences to the community. That being said, The St. Paul Jewish Federation believes that no Jew should ever feel alone. If the cost of attending is a barrier, please reach out—we are committed to making our events accessible to everyone.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Operation Finale

In 1960, the Nazi criminal Adolf Eichmann was captured by the Mossad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Eichmann was flown to Israel and put on trial for his crimes against the Jewish people.

Come to this session to learn the detailed history of how Israeli intelligence was able to track this mass-murderer halfway across the globe, remove him from hiding, and bring him to justice.

The Big Puzzle

Many are unaware that Israel, much like the US, is a patchwork nation of different communities who are united by their shared history and homeland.

In this class, we'll dive into the diverse communities that make up the country, examine the challenges and opportunities of coexistence, and understand how this diversity shapes Israel today.
